(btw, more specifically, French is the mother tongue of a francophone. The English equivalent is anglophone.)

hah....i'm becoming a francophone...i've taken french for *counts on fingers* well, this is my fourth year You can't become a francophone, silly...lmao. Fluent in French, yes. I've been taking it for eleven years- I'm still not great at speaking or writing, but I can understand anything you throw at me. =)
