That song has always meant so fucking much to me. I was just sitting at home after my Grandpa died, 2 years ago and that song came on. I'd been listening to all these stupid 'emo' songs and this...stupid cheerful song comes on! It's crazy! That's when I thought, 'Fuck it, shit happens, I've just got to get on with this.' I think that song might've saved me. Mentally.

Green Day is a savior.....although I always saw Good Riddance as a negative song...being like "Fuck you!" but, most people I know interprited it as a positive thing
