before we went to dinner, my dad was like "why dont you wear jackets?" and i said "cause i dont like jackets" and my dads like "the whole world wears them." and i said "well im not the world. this is the world," i made a hand motion and stepped back and said "and this is me! i dont want be like the world, okay?!"
and then at dinner...
my mom was saying that she was born in the wrong era because when she was growing up she had long hair and stuff and then afterwards long hair started becoming popular. so i said "your problem is that you wanna be like everyone else" and my moms like "no im saying i was always the different one" and i said "yeah but you want to be born in the era where everyone was just like you" and so i said "if when im an adult, everyone starts acting the way i do now im gonna thank G-d i was born where i was one of the few who act like this"[/font][/color][/size]

You fucking rule, Ale. I was so glad you posted part 1, because yesterday I really needed it. I was having...a shitty time with some people at work, and I just kept remembering what you said about telling them "Thanks for noticing" and all that. It really helped
Also, I think I have a serious problem. Whenever I get really pissed about people putting me down and stuff like that, I've started reciting Minority under my breath. Like a prayer or something. Is that bad?
