Yeah, I was just surfing around when I came across this home video that Green Day had made after a gig they had in 1991. I don't know who they're hanging with (people with English accents) but they had some fun.
It opened up rather confusing...I had no idea who was behind the camera and I didn't see Mike, Tre or Billie. That went on for about five minutes, and then I heard Billie's voice, and he came into the shot. He turned down some beer, claiming that it made him "like a slug".
It then went to this room where he and all these people were hanging out, just talking about random things. Billie was talking with one person, I think his name's Sean, for a little while, and was offered a cigarette. He turned it down, saying that he didn't smoke, but he wanted to put it in his mouth to look cool. Aw...innocent little Billie. lol. Then they gave Billie the camera.
It's then just Billie asking the people in the room what their names and occupations were. He sometimes had trouble understanding them and would go "What?" There were silly shots, like him messing around with the camera and going, "That's my boy's hair. See, it goes from there...all the way around...and back down on the other side." Some pointless things.
Then Billie takes the camera into the bathroom with him. He looks into the mirror and goes, "...That's me." And then looks to the toilet and says, "Annnnddd....that's a toilet." When he actually relieves himself, he keeps the camera fixed on the wall in front of him, since "that's what guys usually do when taking a piss." Haha, then there's a shot of him showing the camera his yoo-hoo, and he says "It's small...but that's okay."
The Sean dude reappears in the bathroom, claiming that he "has to take a shit." This is where Tre comes in! The drummer's running around in a green dress and holding a rubber ducky, and he's using this high-pitched, kid-like voice. At one point he sits in the bathtub and sings the rubber ducky song. Billie then goes back into the other room and goes, "Okay, the people that are with me are so ridiculously drunk, so I'm going downstairs" while Tre's going: "You wanna see my ding-a-ling?" (You never get to see cuz Billie's finger was in the way.)
Then it goes to this crazy shot of Mike doing this funny dance, and then he just zooms in on the camera and moves out of the shot. They then crack this joke where this guy's trying to act like he's flying, but he keeps falling over. There's also a point where Billie draws a face on his chest, which was actually pretty entertaining.
This whole video was pretty much made by a bunch of wasted kids, but it was really amusing to watch and actually follow their conversations (when they collected enough of their wits about them to have a decent conversation). The whole point of the video: there was no point.
That was basically my highlight of the day yesterday, so I decided to tell you about it. Chou.
