Man, do I remember. Care Bears were the shit, man. They still are. I had a whole bunch of the toys...the old ones, stuffed ones, ya know. And Pokemon! I LOVED Pokemon. And I had Ninja Turtle sheets...and I distinctly remember wearing yellow socks to school, and my best friend would wear pink ones, and that meant we were the yellow and pink Power Rangers...oh god, how sad...

Yep. Now when I wear strange socks, people get angry. Seriously. I have these awesome glow-in-the-dark socks, all neon orange and green and whatnot--they're actually hideous, but I love them--and I wore them and my friend was like, "Wow, that's stupid. You shouldn't wear those, you look like an idiot."
Some friend, right? My response: "Hey, I wear what I like. If I look like an idiot to you, so be it. Nice Abercrombie hoodie, by the way, I think I saw about six other people wearing the same thing. You look like an idiot just because everyone else tells you to."
*shrugs* I've been a bit touchy with people this week.

Thank you. I just don't understand why my clothing should have any effect on anyone else. I'm not hurting her by wearing my damn socks. *shrugs* And shouldn't she have bigger things to worry about? I mean really, ANYTHING else?
