To Clea: It was in the conclusion of my essay. I was supposed to write about an issue I'm passionate about, and I wrote about how much it pisses me off when people try to censor music and whatnot because it causes people to get "bad ideas" and, you know, shoot up schools and stuff. I listen to the same stuff as a lot of "bad idea" people, and I've never been inclined to shoot anyone, not seriously, anyway.
Anywho, back to topic, I wrote this: We can’t blame the music. Listening to Marilyn Manson doesn’t make me want to commit violence any more than listening to the Beatles makes me want to take up a joint and space out in my Volkswagen bus. (Though listening to Green Day does make me want to overthrow the government.)
