Prom: A Tragedy

Yeah, okay, I'm aware that this is going to sound like superficial teenie whining, but I don't fucking care. My patience, goodwill, and self-esteem are all down to all-time lows, so I'm just gonna rant. (This should probably go on the Fuck You board, but I'm on this one so I'll be posting it here.)

Prom is the single most humiliating thing I have ever experienced--ever--in my high school career. I go to a really small school, so 'pickins are slim, ya'll'. Last year, I went with my "best" guy friend, who dumped me AT PROM for his new fuck buddy, and all my friends were with their boyfriends, so I basically spent the entire time alone.

This year I can't even find a date. All the junior girls have dates. All the other senior girls have dates. Fuck, even EVERY SINGLE sophomore girl has a date to our prom, and I don't. I can't find a date. I'm humiliated and broken, and completely pissed at myself for being so fucking weak as to be broken by something like this. But I had to rant. Sorry.
