although death doesn't have to be depressing...it's just that it can be so hard at the time that you don't realize that maybe things are better off for the person who died

I was thinking about this last night. I think it means just like you go into hiding or something.. like.. I dunno. you get kidnapped and don't appear for 50 years and stuff.

disappearance can be through kidnapping or running away....I don't really know if the death would be classified as "disappearance" per se, but I suppose, not being seen again (at least not under the same identity) is as good as dead
