well, sometimes you can get her to let you pick her up, but she'll be really stiff and then start preparing to make a run for it

my cat's an indoor cat, and we don't have any bats in my house, so no bats for my kitty
I think my kitty's afraid of spiders...she'll poke them, they'll move and then she'll run away as quickly as she can
