okay. so. we watched this movie in school, but, surprisingly, it was actually GOOD. I didn't get to see the ending because I had to go to handbell rehearsal, but I really liked it and I want my mom to get it from NetFlix so I can see the rest.. >.<. anyone see it??

I've heard about it because before I spent all my time here, I would spend all my time researching movies
Is it good? because it didn't sound too fascinating to me, but if it's good, I might see it

I thought it was good.. and it takes a lot for a movie we watch in SCHOOL to be good. its about this guy, heindrich [sp?] (played by brad pitt.. which got a bunch of the girl's in my class excited, lol) who leaves switzerland, I think, to climb a mountain, and he leaves behind his pregnant wife who ends up divorcing him because she hates that he left when she was like 6-months-pregnant. and heindrich and his friend, peter, [who climbs with him] eventually end up in tibet, and heindrich befriends the dalai lama, and.. its basically about what happens to him. I didn't get to see the last 40 minutes.. *sob*

my social studies teacher said I could borrow the DVD if I want to see the end of the movie... *scratches head* well, he didn't just come out and say that. he told this other girl she could borrow it since she was absent all the days, and I yell out "oh can I borrow it?" and he laughs and goes "well she was absent" and so I'm like "..well I didn't see the end.." so now I think he's letting me. if he remembers. which isn't likely.
