Okay. These are pics from my trip to New York City this past summer. For those of you who don't know, John Lennon was murdered on December 8, 1980. He was shot four times (by a "fan") in front of his apartment building in New York City, the Dakota Building. When I was in NYC, I had to pay homage as a fan and as a human being. Also, his home overlooked Central Park. After his death, a portion of the Park was marked off as "Strawberry Fields" (from the Beatles song, "Strawberry Fields Forever") as a tribute to him. *sighs* I went there. It was very emotional for me. Anyway, picture time. The sign for Strawberry Fields. The Imagine mosaic in Strawberry Fields, where fans come to leave little momentos and tributes. Me putting my little tribute onto the tiles. Picture of my tribute thingies. The Dakota Building from Central Park. The entrance to the Dakota Building.

*looks shocked* You've never heard ANYTHING by the Beatles? She Loves You? I Want to Hold Your Hand? Yellow Submarine? All You Need is Love? Come Together?
And thank you, Ale. The building is gorgeous...god. And his wife still lives there.
