I've been lurking around here for about a week and decided it was about time to at least introduce myself. My name is Carleigh, and I'm 16 from Canada. I'm admittedly nowhere near the obsession level you girls are for Green Day, but I joined because I'm interested. I love fanfiction and playing music. I'd heard of Green Day before American Idiot, of course, but my interest in politics is what really got me searching for them on the net.

So, I'm definitely very different from the people I've read about on here, but I think I'll have a good time posting. Perhaps I'll bring a slightly different point of view around here,who knows. I look forward to many a conversation, anyway. =)

I'm from Ontario, but I love Quebec- been there twice. I speak French, too.
