The gig. Holy crap. The gig

Well as some of you know, the band I'm in played at a gig last night. It was actually really good. there was one other punk band, about 4 death metal bands, a couple of 'classic rock' as call it bands...and er, that was it. Most were off their heads, pissed as newts.

We played a few songs of our own and then covers of St.Jimmy and Basket Case (Crowd pleasers!) It went really well, and we weren't the best there but people seemed to like us. So that was pretty awesome. when we came off we actually got some compliments on our playing and such.

For the rest of the time we hung out a bit, listened to the other bands , moshed and such. There were about 25 people outside smoking. Then we met this really cool guy called Joe who had GREEN hair, can you beleive! He had a coupel of friends with him too.

And then...a fight started. This idiot had come in with a bottle and we were seriously scared, the door guy was trying to get him away but he wouldn't go. So me, my friends, Joe and his friends did a runner and hung out at town park. at about 1.15 I went off home.

All in all....gig rocked. met some cool people. totally shattered.

I took a test for what type of metal I would listen to and I am mostly Death Metal *looks around* and another test said that I am mostly goth (equal with emo) hmmm...I wonder what that says about my current mental state
