So, I just realized there wasn't a thread for The Academy Is..., and I thought that was probably a sin against...well, me. TAI kicks ass, I picked up their album Almost Here on a whim a couple of months ago, and I fell completely in love. Or if you're just looking to download a song or two, may I recommend "Black Mamba" (...this is the voice that I was given and if you don't like it take a long walk off of the shortest pier you can find and I'll be singing it out, I'll be singing...) or "Skeptics and True Believers" (...someone somewhere said some things that may have sparked some sympathy but don't believe a word you've heard about me...).
And then I saw them live at Warped Tour, and I became an altar-worshipping TAI slut. William Beckett is an amazing performer.
TAI is fucking awesome. So there.

There is much love in my heart for TAI. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Billy Becks is gorgeous and has a gorgeous voice....
