it's one of my favorite books ever, and it's by Sue Mayfield
you know what's interesting though, is that it is called Blue in England, but they called it Drowning Anna in the U.S.

but she has written a fair amount of other books that deal with angsty/troublesome issues

*shrugs* I would actually be disappointed if she wrote a sequal because I feel like Sue Mayfield would make her live and that seems like the wrong ending to me...even if she did die, I would be disappointed......I like ambiguity
